What diesel trading means in practice
Trading is the buying half of the promise. Before a litre reaches your tank it has been sourced, stored, tested and priced, and how well a supplier does those things decides everything you later experience as reliability. We buy 10ppm ultra-low-sulphur automotive diesel in bulk, hold it in managed storage, and sell it onward at wholesale and retail volumes across the UAE.
Because we trade at scale, we can quote both ways: a full tanker load for an industrial buyer, or a smaller scheduled drop for a business that burns a few thousand litres a week. The grade never changes. The only thing that changes is the logistics wrapped around it.
Why the 10ppm grade matters
Sulphur content is not a paperwork detail. High-sulphur fuel forms acids during combustion that corrode injectors, valve seats and exhaust systems. The 10ppm grade keeps that chemistry on your side while still lubricating the fuel pump and injector train the way high-speed engines expect. Generators running on clean fuel start when asked, hold frequency under load, and go longer between overhauls. The arithmetic is the same for fleets and heavy plant: cleaner fuel means fewer workshop days.
Quality is checked twice, once at loading and once at your tank. The delivery docket records what the meter sealed in, so the litres you sign for are the litres you received.
Wholesale, retail, or somewhere between
- Wholesale buyers such as contractors, industrial plants and fuel resellers get volume pricing, scheduled supply and a named contact who knows their sites.
- Retail volumes suit workshops, small fleets and single-generator operations: the same fuel, ordered as you need it, with no contract if you don't want one.
- Term agreements hold a price band for the agreed period. That is usually what procurement teams actually want. Not the cheapest possible Tuesday, but a number the budget can trust.
How a trading relationship starts
Tell us what you burn in a normal month, where your sites are, and how you prefer to buy. We come back with a quote that names the grade, the price basis, the delivery mode and the payment terms. No vague "market rates". If the numbers work, your first delivery can usually be scheduled within days, and everything after that is a phone call or a standing order.
